i can only partially help you,

if you go to forums under admin, you will find a spot called tutorials and the such, that may help you, but also i know that there are plenty of people in here that can give some one on one help as well, sorry i could not be of more use.

I see this is an old post, but for future reference, yes you can capture video off of a DVD and import it to your editing program, from there you can cut the clips and convert to WMV and upload to the site.

Ok so how do ya do that? I edited another hunt with a friend from work on his puter and we burned it to a disc, but now I want to just change a few things....how do I get it into my puter for editing?

Thanks

Would this also work with clips from mini DVD cam?? THanks

Most editing programs have an import DVD titles option............click on it and choose the correct files to download..........once it has downloaded you can edit it the same as you would normally captured video..............

Does it work with mini DVD? Only if the DVD player on your computer will read mini DVD's.

Now I don't know if all editing software has this ability ,but I use pinnacle 10.7 and it does...........you can get a free trial download from thier site:
