[size="3"][/size]hey there, what an informative site. i am an extreme novice and need your help. i baught a GL2 and took some great footage this fall. i want to download it to my computer and edit clips to throw something together worth watching instead of all the boring stuff in between. i was looking for reasonable priced easy to use (cause i'm a dough head) editing software. i've read someother post but i'm nervous about buying the wrong thing that wont work on my computer. or you have to be a geek to operate the program. so, any advice will be appreciated. thank you all that reply and good luck this fall.

I use windows movie maker, its easy and its kept me busy playing around with different video clips i have taken, so far nothing complete to post on here yet. The best thing about windows movie maker is its free, so its easy to get started.

Most computers come with some type of editing program. You can try that first then upgrade as you get better.

I started using sony vegas plat pro..
its pretty sweet. and you can get it for about 100bucks...
aoudio, video, dvd builder.. it has it all..
